Jake is doing awesome, hes awake today and alert and playful. He wanted nothing more than tons of cuddles and scritches and love, everything was interesting to him, and he was so much better. He didn’t want us to leave, but we couldn’t stay all day, as much as we wanted to <.< The staff has been playing with him and holding him and giving him love too, and they all told us how much they loved having him there and loved spending time with him.
I dont think we could have gotten through this without all the support and love from you guys. You have been beyond amazing in this, and because of you guys, he should be home tomorrow, and back with Finn and the rest of his family.
Saturday night, one of my kitties started to get really sick, he was throwing up a lot and wasn't interested in playing, which is very abnormal for him. Hes 10 months old, so for him to not want to play mousey or feather-on-a-stick or killitkillitkillit was really a sign that something was wrong. We kept an eye on him sunday, and he kept getting worse, so monday we rushed off to the vet. They took some xrays, and gave us some anti nausea meds, and sent us home. He stopped eating and drinking entirely. The vet called today (tuesday) and told us they found some suspicious spots on the x ray and to come in to get a closer look ASAP. So off we rushed, and they did one x ray, and his lil kitty guts are in very bad shape. They rushed him into surgery, where he is now, and I'm hoping for good news. We still aren't sure if he has an obstruction, or what could be going on. To me, he's a sick little kitty that needs help, and that's all that matters.
Some of his vet bill we can cover, and some of it we cant, so I wanted to open up full commissions to make enough to pay off what I couldn't cover, so that when he gets better I can bring him home. We already miss him, and his BFF, Finn (what other name could we possibly pick?! It's adventure time with them, the fun never ends!) is very confused about the whereabouts of his playmate, and spent the past few days trying to play with him, and then resolving to being his comfort companion and grooming him, caring for him, and just being there for him. I have already covered everything I possibly can, taking out care credit to cover the some of what I can't, which total $1600. Any help you can give, or even just a signal boost would be amazing. I can't promise these will be done by christmas, but I will work as hard as I can to get them done in a timely manner.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
