It might seem like generic tips for you but many of these things are stuff I wouldn't have thought about. I don't usually go for realistic anatomy but the eye/ankle and the tilt tips will be helpful regardless, and the flip trick is awesome! <3 Thank you!
You're very welcome, those were all things that were drilled into my head in my first months in school, so mebbe round two will be like... advanced stick figures!
Super helpful info You sketch much the same way I (and many artists prob do) with really simple stick figure that slowly build to more detailed layers atop. That horizontal flip trick is the best thing ever. I just recently started doing it and it saves my ass. I realize I have (had) a tendency to draw with a weird right tilting slant, so whenever I flip, my characters are always leaned over like they have balance issues.
I have that same problem O_O I think its because I'm so heavy handed when i draw, and my hands usually at a weird angle and it drawing on a tablet makes it worse (since your "paper" cant move to accommodate your hand).
Yeah :/ Same. And my desk is small for the fact I have a desktop, laptop, light bed, and scanner on it, so I have a tendency to sit off center from my humungous, ancient wacom to the right.
